Life is weird...

Tue Feb 3, 2009, 3:49 PM
Hey Guys
been some time... to cut to the chase, I've been diagnosed with ADD last week, quite shocked me...already on meds for it. I'm about to get kicked from school, because i'm gone too much. problem is, I gotta cheer up before I can get back to things, like school, but that could take a while... life is like a bumby road, and you're riding it on a bike with square wheels...Oh well time to watch prisonbreak and go to sleep.

Lol wow.. I'm sorry man but just cause a doctor says you have ADD doesn't mean you have to change your lifestyle. Not sure if it was before or after the meds that you started to be "gone too much" but if its the meds doing it, I would recommend taking you time with them. You shouldn't be depressed that you were diagnosed with ADD and might get the boot from school, if you really want an education you'll find ways for it to happen (online degrees, etc.). As for the whole ADD thing, my friend purposefully got on the meds (told his doctor he cant concentrate, which was a full out lie) cause he says it helps him focus on fragging people when playing video games (talk about crazy), thats why I'm a big skeptic about there really even being "ADD."

Well i'm stubborn enough to do that, but I need to change my lifestyle. I gotta spend more time on school, i've been way to lazy with that in the past. and I was already gone too much before the meds, and the meds should prevent that.
and i'm not really depressed, but actually quite neutral on this, I don't really know what to think so...

As for you're friend, he's right:P It does help fragging, I've noticed it too(It improves you're reaction time) then again I wouldn't just take the pills so I can frag better, there's alot of downsides to those meds...

lol, you remind me of my friend John so much haha. My best advice would be to keep your life in order. Try everything to stay in school. Pick a career you want to be in the rest of your life and go for it ;)

Your at a young age now where dumb decisions can impact the rest of your life. Its up to you to decide how you want your future to be. Sorry if I'm sounding like a motivational enthusiast but I don't like seeing my buddys go down the wrong path ;)

If its hard for you to understand, just put it into perspective like I did. School is only a small fraction of your life which determines most of the success you have in the future. So suffer through it now, and you won't have to work so much later because you'll have a badass job that pays :)

Well you're absolutely right, I just gotta get used to these meds, they make the difference already though(getting out of bed was a major problem; now it goes with ease...) the only thing that bothers me right now, is that school can't help me with this, they say they can but from what help i've had already, it's lousy. But eventually everything will just go back to normal, i'm sure of it:)
